Education is a fundamental human right and children with special needs should not be discriminated, segregated or marginalized. This documentary tells the story of Nihal Armstrong, a boy with Cerebral Palsy whose misdiagnosed learning difficulties saw him spend some of his primary years within special needs education. This film highlights what happens when the Local Education Authority gets it wrong and explores the experiences of a mother and her severely disabled son, who had fought discrimination in the British education system. This work presents a damning critique of an education system that has failed spectacularly in its mission to bring equality into education.
